Conducted by Center of Excellence on Women Empowerment, Amity University, Kolkata To provide an impetus to Women Empowerment in the AUK ecosystem, a webinar was organized by Center of Excellence on Women Empowerment, Amity University, Kolkata. The eminent speakers were Ms. Olga Mamonova – Russian Sociologist, Member of International and European Sociological Associations and Russian Society of Sociologists, Ms. Ana Sayfa – Turkish-Canadian Travel Blogger, and Ms. Rupanjana Dey – Author, practising Company Secretary, Lawyer, Editor, Social Worker and Director across Company Boards. The webinar was attended by over 50 female students and would be entrepreneurs. Ms. Olga Mamonova narrated her experiences of how women are becoming catalysts of change in the Eastern part of Europe, specifically in Russia. Ms. Ana Sayfa shared her experiences and challenges of travelling as a single woman across the globe, and how she has become an inspiration to several other women through her blogs. Ms. Rupanjana Dey shared her experiences of how women are slowly but gradually leading change in the Indian corporate setup, and at society in general.
