The Universidade de Santiago de Compostela

The Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) is a public university located in the city of Santiago de Compostela, Galicia (with a second campus in Lugo). It is one of the world’s oldest universities in continuous operation. It was founded in 1495 and during its more than 500 years of history it has earned a place amongst the most prestigious universities in Spain. With 25183 students enrolled, the university offers modern facilities and a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses:

USC has 30 faculties and schools, 27 research centers, 62 master’s degrees, 55 Ph.D. programmes, and 49 official undergraduate degrees. It has a long-established academic and research reputation, with 14 research centers and 315 research groups, and a wide experience in the management of international cooperation projects.
