The Maharaja Sayajiroa University of Baroda

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, established on 30th April 1949, is a leading residential only English medium public-funded university located in the state of Gujarat in India. The university comprises 111 Departments under the umbrella of 14 Faculties, 3 Constituent colleges, 8 Institutions, and 13 Centers of specialized studies, wherein more than 40,000 students pursue higher studies under the supervision of more than 1200 highly qualified and experienced teaching staff.


The University offers 98 PG courses, 66 Ph.D. programme, 39 PG Diploma courses, and 88 UG courses with an option from 347 programmes in 92 subjects and offers a wide range of courses, giving an opportunity for education from early childhood (Chetan Balwadi), Std I- Std XII (Experimental School), Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and doctoral programs.


The Office of International Affairs (OIA) of MSU is the nodal point and coordinating institute for all the activities and engagements of the university which are international in nature. Working in collaboration with all the Faculties, Colleges, Institutes, and Administration of the University, the OIA facilitates and implements MSU’s mission of global engagement and efforts to further enhance the international visibility and its recognition as a major international educational and research center. From the current year OIA will also facilitate International student admissions including the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) scholarship fellows
